Olympic Solidarity Program: Training camp in Canoe Kayak with a french coach
The LCKF with the French Coach Romaric Herbez are organizing, from 23rd of July till the 4th of August, four training camps for coaches and kayakers in: Al Assi River Hermel, Bnachii Lake, Green Beach and Mounes Beach.

Cooperation between the Lebanese Canoe Kayak federation and the Australian Canoeing Federation
In order to develop Canoe Kayak in Lebanon and during his presence in Sydney-Australia, the president of the LCKF Mr. Mazen Ramadan has held a meeting with the president of the Canoeing Federation Mr. Daniel Woodward and the Chief Executive Officer Kate Heelley.
After these meetings it has been decided:
- To link both federations’ websites.
- The Australian Canoeing Federation will provide the LCKF promotional DVD’s in order to promote the Canoe Kayak in Lebanon and a mold for Kayak manufacturing in Lebanon.
An Australian Expert will be sent later to Lebanon in order to train and provide manufacturing techniques to the LCKF.
Finally the Australian Canoeing Federation will help the LCKF seeking for Lebanese Kayakers living in Australia and this by providing the LCKF all necessary information about these Kayakers.

2008 University Tour
Since our main goal is to spread and develop the Canoe-Kayak in Lebanon,
the Lebanese Canoe-Kayak Federation is pleased to announce you the
launching of the 2008 University Tour.
Every Saturday, from 1pm till 3pm, all university students are welcomed to
try and paddle a kayak at the “Holiday Beach” resort – Zouk Mickael.

Christmas Kayak Race 2007
On December 9, 2007, the Ox Sporting Club has hosted, at the Green Beach resort, the second Christmas Kayak race 2007. 25 competitors have participated in the race which consisted of 4 kayakers competing simultaneously in a special pre designed challenging course. The first 2 kayakers to cross the finish line proceed to the next round. This knock-out format continues until the final stage where the best 4 competes to define the winner. At the end of the day medals have been distributed to winners.
This event was sponsored by the LCKF.
