The LCKF is organizing an event to introduce the Canoe Kayak to new potential paddlers.
A brochure was distributed in the Lebanese Universities to inform people about the event. All interested people should call the Federation or go online to fill out a form on the LCKF website, and they will be informed for further details by the Federation.

December 19, 2005 .
French Expert Visit Lebanon:
From the 12th Dec. to the 18th Dec., in terms of cooperation, and according to the French-Lebanese Protocol, a French Expert, Mr. Jean Michel Prono, the president of the Slalom Racing Committee in the International Canoe Federation visited Lebanon, to arrange adjust and develop the courses of the Awali and Assi Rivers for canoe kayak slalom practice.
Mr. Prono is an expert in this domain, and he was the person in charge of setting the course of the last World Slalom Championship in Penrith, Australia.
During his mission Mr Prono met the president and the members of the Lebanese Canoe Kayak Federation and discussed the possibilities of further cooperation between the French and Lebanese Federations, noting that Mr Prono is very familiar with the canoe-kayak in Lebanon and it’s federation since it’s not his first visit to Lebanon. Actually he played the main role in setting the 4 years Development Master Plan that the Lebanese Federation is determined to fulfill and he was the supporter of setting the ICF training center in Lebanon.

Congress in Kuala Lumpur:
On the 18th of December 2005, the President of the LCKF, Mr. Mazen Ramadan attended the ACC 11th Asian Canoe Championship and Congress in Kuala Lumpur.
The Congress elected Mr.Xin Quiniying (China) as new president of the ACC,
The Congress was also a chance for Mr. Ramadan to meet with officials from all Asian countries, in order to set cooperation plans to help the Canoe-Kayak in Lebanon.
